She was silent that day, looking elsewhere, lost in thoughts while he talked to her nonsensically as always. She was never this silent.
A moment later, he paused and gazed at her,
“What’s going on? What’s troubling you?”
She didn’t even look at him.
“Hello, sleepyhead! Is anything bothering you? Why aren’t you saying anything?”
“I’m bored. Let’s go watch a movie.”
She said after a moment’s silence.
“Aye aye, Cap’n!”
She took the wheel as sat beside her on the other seat. She looked completely lost and scared.
“The AC is set on high, a window is open, I wonder what’s making you sweat so much. Are you gonna tell me what’s wrong or what!?”
She drove silently to the cinema hall.
The movie had already started.
He ran inside as she walked slowly.
She saw him waiting for her at the door, looking angry and confused. An hour passed.
He was bored, the movie sucked.
“You know, you got poor taste in movies. The movie is just like you, boring.” He said, turning towards her,
“Oh my God! Why are you looking at me like that? You’re scaring the shit outta me. Are you possessed?”
“You know, you talk too much. Let’s go home. I’m bored too.”
It was a late night show and everybody were asleep when they got home. All the beds were occupied except one.
“You take the bed, I’ll sleep on the couch.”
He pointed her towards the bed.
“No, it’s okay. Sleep beside me, on the bed. I don’t mind.” She insisted.
He asked her if she was sure and they got to bed.
A few hours later, he could feel her arms around him. He ignored.
He then could feel her hug him, tighter with each passing second.
He opened his eyes, she was staring at him, waiting for him to wake up.
“Close the door“, she said.
He sat down on the floor, afraid that something wrong would happen. She got down, lifted him up on his feet and kissed him hard.
He tried to resist,
“Are you mad!? You’re gonna be married next week. What if anyone sees us or knows about this??”
She kept kissing him.
He gave up, kissed her like she did.
She pulled her pants down and took his shirt off.
They kissed passionately for a while.
Suddenly, something struck his mind, he could feel something is wrong.
“We should stop. I’m sorry”
She took a step back, put her pants on and got into the bed. He sat on the floor, beside the bed.
They talked all night long as if nothing had happened, they laughed and argued until morning.
It was a sunny day and she had to leave for her home. She said goodbye to everyone except him. He didn’t care.
He was depressed.
He thought he had lost his favourite cousin because of what happened last night.
His phone beeped.
A message from her,
This is entirely a work of fiction!
