Nothing beats an afternoon nap.
Vic barged into the house, threw the bag in the corner and crashed into the couch. He was tired and frustrated. He’s had a bad day, he was sure he was gonna fail in the exam.
“What happened? Are you okay?” Vic’s mother asked him, touching his forehead to see if he had a fever.
“I’m okay, mom.” He groaned “I guess I just need some sleep.” Vic stood up and walked into his room. It was dirty. There were books all over his bed, “Mom, why didn’t you clean this up?” He yelled and jumped right in the middle of the mess. The room became a playground as he tossed all the books into different shelves, “And it’s a score!” He screamed with every toss.
He sat down in his bed, leaning on to the wall. Being a narcoleptic, he abruptly fell asleep. “Hey! Close the door!” Vic heard a soft whisper. “Back from school already? Just let me sleep.” Vic murmured.
A few minutes later, “I said close it! I hate it when I hear sounds when I’m sleeping.” The whisper wasn’t soft this time. “Why, you idiot!” Vic got up furiously to find no one beside him.
“Little brat! Must’ve ran to mom when he saw me getting up.” Vic thought.
“Mom, why’s Aron home early? He isn’t letting me sleep.” There was no answer.”why don’t you answer, mom? Didn’t you hear me?” Vic walked into the hall to find the door locked from the outside. He rushed to the dining table, took his phone and dialed his mom’s number. “Mom? Where are you? Why’s Aron home early?”
“Hey vicc! Up already? I’m at Aron’s school right now. I didn’t wanna wake you up so I locked the door from the outside. We’ll be there in 20.”
