Oneself.

How does it feel

When you break free from

Those chains?

What is it like

When all your efforts go

In vain?

Is there pain

When you carry all that blame?

Tell me, brother,

I heard you say

“It’s all the same”

Is your soul now

A relic of your past?

Do you feel your emotions

Slowly whither away?

Who do you see

When you look in the mirror?

Someone else

With the same face?

Take a walk, mate

With me in the fields

Following the sun until it sets

Talk about life

Talk about death

Talk about love

Take a deep breath

Leave your fears behind

Don’t you hesitate, friend

Of mine to confide

For I am you

That you let die

            1. Good question!
I’m not really sure that I have many self care days .. more like self care moments throughout the week whether it’s pampering or simply enjoying ALONE time! I stay super busy so I appreciate my quiet moments of relaxation when I can get them

            1. I understand what you’re saying from that perspective. However, I cannot stand to be in a negative environment for too long! I’ll start creating positivity and that doesn’t help then I know it’s time for me to exit! ✌🏽 nothing is worth disturbing my self peace!

  1. OMG!! Bhaiyaaaa, this is so emotional. 😧😧 I could imagine the whole scene before me. You wrote this so perfectly. I must say, the second half is soooo much more powerful than the previous one. 😬 Also, you’re a cheaterrrr.

            1. I definitely wish that everything works out for you☺
Actually I try to not exceed two posts a week so that the quality is not compromised! I cannot think of ideas as quick as you doπŸ˜ƒ

            2. Thank you. πŸ™‚
Is it? I should try it too. Actually, I write everyday because I’m afraid I can’t write again once I stop. It’s the fear of losing the habit that keeps me writing which of course has me stranded in low quality posts and another thing is whatever I write is always spontaneous. I cannot plan what to write and keep making necessary changes to it until it is complete.
I’m envious of all those writers who maintain their standards. πŸ™‚

            3. I totally agree with you on the ‘fear of losing habit’ point! πŸ™‚
But I don’t think that your posts are low quality in any way, all of them are very well written and the spontaneity only adds to the beauty of them! In-fact, I am envious of writers like you who have the ability to turn every moment of their life into beautiful pieces of art! 😊
And also, sorry for the late responseπŸ˜… Went offline after the last comment! πŸ˜…
