Good night.

Close your eyes, open them to heaven

Don’t wake up, until I send my raven

Slip into slumber

There’s no pain worthy enough

To remember

All those owls sing for you

Winds are chorus,

Your blanket, the great sky, blue

While these stone walls guard you

Fear not, of the werewolves

Under the blood moon

Dream on, princess, as long

As my spirit haunts this ground

Bound to your soul,

Always slithering around

  1. Hey Bharath. Don’t take this the wrong way, but I believe your punctuation game has more room for improvement. Case in point: I initially read it as “Don’t wake up until I send my raven slip into slumber!” For a second, I wondered why the raven will slip into slumber!!! Shouldn’t there be a full stop after raven?
I hope this comment hasn’t offended you. Just a suggestion, from one blogger friend to another. πŸ™‚

    1. Eerie?? I tried to make it simple. Well, let it be eerie, eerie is good.
