The suppressed voice didn’t dare lash out. The world was getting blurrier, adding to it, the double vision. Is the sky falling down? Why does it feel like the ground is about to cave in? There are people staring but nobody seemed to care.
I couldn’t feel my arms anymore; my legs gave up on me as I crashed to the ground, sliding. Drenched in sweat, stinky as fuck, I crawled my way forward, squealing for help. Broken ribs? Punctured lungs? I’m gasping for breath. I wanted to puke my guts out.
Just as I was about to lose hope and close my eyes for one last time, a heavy thump brought me back to life.
“How many times have I told you not to eat soap?”
