Killing time.

Here you go, sister.

This is what I did when I was in class ever since I was a child. My notebooks were full of sketches instead of notes and homework.

Even back in college, sitting in the last bench, lost in my own world, sketching whatever comes to my mind. I still sketch when I have time at work.

I hope you like it.

(Thanks for asking)

  1. Haaaaye!! Meko Thor ki yaad aayi isko dekhke. Kitna mast banaye ho. 🀩🀩 Please draw more often. You have potential.

Also, this was so relatable. Meri bhi saari copies ke last 5-6 pages me sirf doodles hote. 🀣 Jab teacher achha nai padha rahi toh dimaag drawing me lag jata.

          1. Luckily we won’t have lockdown for the second day of Eid =)
Your call IG. I write weekly. I already wrote two pieces but one is part of a collab and the other is a gift so it’s not post-able content…not yet anyways. Usually at this time I’m at peace/content so I don’t exactly have it in me to write sumn as dark as I usually do :3

  3. Yay! I’m whackedπŸ˜„πŸ™ŒπŸ‘πŸ€΄πŸ½ If you don’t know what to do, become a comics painter, a book illustrator, a pc games characters’ outliner, or an advertisements’ storyboard maker πŸ˜„

      1. ThanksπŸ™‚Sorry to be here so scarcely, I am busy with a crore of small but time-eating things. For example, going to the vet with our cat, which happens to be pregnant in spite of having had her ovar tubes cut, and homeschooling kid, and gardening, and writing freelance texts, and so onπŸ™‚

          1. YesπŸ™‚In Germany the Corona lockdown has been eased a bit, some activities are allowed now, as long as everyone is wearing a mask and crowds and queues can be avoided.

            1. Our cases are also rising, only the speed of infection has slowed down. But I think we’ll get a big fat evil second wave. People are careless

  4. I usually had to sit on the front bench, so I couldn’t do this, but we played tic tac toe, or maybe talked to each other, by writing on bits of paper and then passing it to them, but this was only when it was a free period. We even played games sometimes, like dumb charades. Thanks for sharing this Bharath, it made me nostalgic πŸ™‚

            1. They sure helped me out too. Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle were the first comics I read. Till date, they’re still my absolute favourites ! But the quality of Tinkle has reduced tremendously after the passing of Uncle Pai 😦

            2. I started with DC comics, then Marvel, then Tinkle, I also read Nagraj. Chacha Chowdhary was one of my favourites but in the end, DC comics remains my favourite publisher so far.
Tinkle was good but the quality has gone down recently and the prices have been hiked. Suppandi and Shikari Sambhu were my favourites. Even Rajjo was awesome.

            3. I despised Shikari Shambu. I loved Butterfingers and Suppandi.
I haven’t read the DC or Marvel comics, only watched the movies.
If you’re into comic books, you should really give Asterix a go! πŸ™‚
