It’s raining and the roads are flooded with traffic, cars going bumper to bumper. There’s a dog trying to get to the other side; the light is sometimes green and sometimes red.
He ran across.
He goes haywire, he’s blinded by lights and reflections in the water. Within a blink, he’s in the middle of the road, vehicles passing by at catastrophic speeds; some run into him, others barely avoiding a crash. People start cursing.
He managed to get back to where he was before. The rain turns into a heavy downpour. Road have sunk, vehicles stuck at the signals. The sound of water against everything hurts his ear; it’s chaos.
He ran again.
Life you see is sometimes like that busy road that doesn’t let you cross. You still try; knowing you may die.
