I’m a bottle in the ocean,
Drifting afar
Until I sink;

I’m a message that’s lost,
In translation, on a paper that’s washed.

I’m a voice
That’s trapped inside a conch shell;
Quiet yet present.

I’m a destination without a path
And path without a direction.

You see me but you don’t;
You can touch me but you can’t;
I am but I’m not.

  1. This was an amazing writeup, making us muse over what’s being referred to. Really loved those metaphors.
    And these lines:
    I’m a message that’s lost,
    In translation, on a paper that’s washed
    They are just awesome. Its like those random thoughts and imaginations, which when tried to put in words, lose a part of their true essence. And then, as they are conveyed from mouth to the ears of others, the essence gets mixed up.
    And that line, you can see me but you can’t, something like our imagination, which we can see but still its not the reality in front of us.
    It was a great read as always!

      1. You see, Bharath. I am not the only one.😁😁

        I entered into your mind, copied your thoughts, saved them in my memory and pasted them here.😜
        And for this, Bharath’s blog provides a good network, haina.😂😝
