I walked with my eyes closed to know how far I’d go without bumping into whatever came my way. I could smell the rain, it’s about to take the leap of faith but the clouds looked too adamant, I saw them before I closed my eyes.
The first step was cautious, second a little loose; third, slightly reckless and I sped up from fourth. The first rays of the sun forced my eyes open, I looked around at multitudes of colours, the astonishing visible spectrum and the puddle I stepped in. The road has never been this empty, my mind never this serene, there’s magic in this world; I only had to believe.
