Motivation.

We only got one life.

Everything that you have or had won’t matter sooner or later; the ones that looked and felt so important to you will become obsolete. The constant pressure of making a living and a will to survive robs us off of the life in the present moment. Can we stop for a minute and look? They say we won’t take anything to the grave.

Isn’t it strange? They use death to motivate us for a happier life and life to chase things that push us closer to death?

This is a very interesting way to put it. The present moment is so easy to neglect.

  3. You know Bharath, I read this one and texted Anushka saying tell Bharath his post is just so thoughtful and so profound, because I knew I won’t be able to be here to comment instantly.

Your post makes me think, which I don’t do usually 😂
It’s true, we take nothing to grave, than why there is so much about life, just so beautiful!

    1. Anushka told me about it on call so I thought I’d thank you directly the next time we have a conference.
Take your time, no rush. I don’t think either but when I do, I write it down so I can get things out of my mind. Thanks. 🙂

    Looks like the ultimate paradox.

Live one day at a time. If we wake up to see the next, great. If we don’t, great.

        1. Well you wonder what’s beyond death, I do share the curiosity but at the same time I believe we just stop existing like we never happened at all and also, I don’t think whatever happens in between has any purpose at all. We share similarities though. 🙂

Yeah, I kind of believe in the “afterlife” 😊
Hmm… really though? You don’t think the middle part of life and death has any purpose?

It’s sounds paradoxical! But brother, in life we chase wrong things, hoping they’ll lead us to a happier life (could be because of the way the society is structured) and when we realize that death can take us away at anytime, we learn to prioritize and maybe live in the moment.

    1. What’s right? What’s wrong? They are subjective, sister. We compromise and abide because we have to fit in.

It’s a quote from GOT – “When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives,”

That’s an illusion, we depend on each other for even the basic necessities. Lone wolf might survive for a while but to thrive is just out of question.

We grow up and think we can survive alone but the fact is we need others to survive in this world.

            3. We grow up depending on others. We can coexist but dependence is doom.

Do you grow and cook your own food, brother? After all one needs food to sustain life. This is just one example. So we’re not just co-existing but we’re inter-dependent on each other for our survival.

            5. Do you depend on one person for everything? Does one man grow vegetables, cook food, make your clothes? We coexist. We help each other out. We depend when we have no other way.

Does it mean the lone wolf is emotionally detached from the rest but is willing to co exist for the sake of survival?
