Happiness

There are paths to happiness.

They say happiness is in you, you have to look within. It’s often said that happiness is a journey, not a destination. You move through it, not reach. What do you notice? Where did sadness go??

Look closer, it has always been here.

Suffering makes you realise what happiness feels like. Happiness is a distraction from reality.

They’re inseparable.

Thanks fo sharing. Instead of being self-centered, happy people tend to be generous and interested in others. One of my favorite passage that I keep in mind is the words at Acts 20:35 There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.

  10. Happiness isn’t a distraction from reality but the acceptance of it. It’s about being content with what we have and who we have become.

I agree with the last line. They are mere positive and negative emotions that are always there. That may be the reason why the brain gets confused in some situations, and we express mixed responses like tears of joy or nervous laughter.

    1. We all have our views, don’t we? Accepting the reality doesn’t make you happy, it helps you cope up with shit. Again, contentment isn’t happiness. It’s being okay.
Thank you so much Aswathy. Welcome back.
