I’ve been up, I’ve been down; the seesaw and the merry go round. I’ve been in, I’ve been out; I gazed at the lights and screamed out loud.
“Let go” they said, “feel the rush”. Oh I know and I don’t care; life is a vanity fair. I see people, they sing and dance; I see them dining in candle light and call it romance.
I walked through the circus, played with the animals; if only I cheered with the crowd. I shouldn’t known, I should’ve seen but what difference does it make, everything’s now a ‘has been’.
